The Archaeological Museum is home to a collection of Greek and Roman sculptures, objects and artifacts, as well as Egyptian, Babylonian and Assyrian antiquities. In contrast, the Museo Correr holds perhaps the most modern collection of art, poised between the Procuratie Vecchie and the Procuratie Nuove, in perfect position to usher in a new era in Italian history.
